Rendering advice and ensuring representation and protection of interests of a major Ukrainian bank in a dispute with a Panamanian shipping company considered by the Commercial Court of London
The firm’s attorney provided consultation and representation to protect the interests of a major Ukrainian bank in relation to a case tried before the Commercial Court of London. The claim was directed at collecting from the Bank the amount of a bank guarantee exceeding 43 Million USD. As a result of the attorney’s work the court refused the claim completely on the ground that the Bank’s employee who signed the bank guarantee did not have either actual, implied or ostensible authority.
